Sudstainables is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to the best of our ability.

Measures to support accessibility

Sudstainables takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of sudstainables.com:

  • We include accessibility as part of our website development and review process.
  • We assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities internally.
  • We audit our site periodically using both automated tools and manual review.
  • We remediate findings in a prioritized, timely manner.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Sudstainables.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and fix the remaining issues.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content on sudstainables.com may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following categories of issues and are actively remediating them:

  • Color contrast in some components may not meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA minimum contrast ratios. Remediation in progress.
  • Third-party embedded content (for example, product review widgets) may not always be fully accessible. We are in contact with our vendors to improve this.
  • Some interactive components (carousels, accordions, popups) may have ARIA attribute issues. Remediation in progress.

Assessment approach

Sudstainables assessed the accessibility of this website using the following approaches:

  • Automated testing with Pa11y and axe-core against key page templates.
  • Manual structural review of landmarks, headings, alternative text, keyboard navigation, and focus management.
  • Ongoing quarterly re-assessments to track progress and catch regressions.
